It's finally done!!! We are so incredibly happy with the way the landscaping turned out. Yesterday, we finally got the plants into the ground and while it's a little sparse now, we are hoping that they will fill in soon. I also plan on adding some hostas and maybe tulip bulbs come fall. We have also picked out a new front door and light fixtures, so hopefully the budget will allow us to complete the face lift soon...

While we had the tiller on hand we also got the vegetable garden in place. It is 5 x 11 feet and we hope to get a good harvest of tomatoes, bell peppers, summer squash, and raspberries later this season. All in all, a good days work!

Yes after the pics were posted I realized the date was totally wrong. I fixed that after I put the pics up. I'm in for a mani/pedi for us mommies!!! Oh yeah I LOVE THE NEW Curb appeal. Oh and hostas are awesome too. mine are coming up and they look awesome. Some money saving tips on hosta's if you know anyone with them try having them split theirs so you don't have to buy them at the store. Sorry for the book
oh yeah one more thing I would offer you some of mine however, they are off shoots of a lady I work with and I don't think they are mature enough for that.
If you want hostas, let me know! I'm constantly thinning out mom's... I'll be adding some to our place, again, this fall (right...isn't it usually the fall when I thin mom's?!) since we lost ours during the deck expansion! You've also motivated me...and almost Mike...to pull out all our front landscaping and do what we want to do (think Matt would help w/ the little bit of wall we have left?! That would get Mike moving!!!!!)
It looks great! I bet you are both glad its completed!
Thanks for the offers, but I already have a supplier... my brother has some monsters to split.
I hate you guys! (not really, but come on!) I've been working on my addition to my house for almost 3 years, and I've barely done anything. You guys actually get work done. Maybe since matt is out of work for a while I can steel him to work at my house. See what happens when you post pics of work being done, everybody wants your man to work for them too! I'm glad he's up for it. PS: Matt if your looking for a supplemental job, I've got a few hook ups, you know nothing permanent, but a little extra cash.
It looks great!! That made a huge difference in the look of the whole house!!
