What year is it?

Greetings from a flooded StL! I know Jen usually does this, but I thought I would give it a try. So, for the out of towners, I wanted to share some pictures of the very flooded Meramec River which flows right behind the Chrysler plant and behind the building I work in. They say that the Meramec will crest close to the record set in 1982 which is higher than it got in 1993. This picture is looking northeast above I-44 and Hwy 141.
Last Thursday night I worked an overnight helping to prep for the flood. Sandbagging, shipping out forklifts, and getting product about a foot off the floor. No small task for a seven hundred thousand square foot warehouse!!

I hope that you are able to get to work and salvage anything and everything that isn't wet or under water. I hope that the river is on it's way out.

hey bro! welcome to blogspot! So what is it like to work in an underwater office? Knowing my job, they would still make me come in, even though the office would be completely submerged! Hope everything turns out okay! I'll give you a call soon, so we can go play some golf! Later duder!
