Matt is at work tonight preparing for the flood of 08 (his warehouse is projected to be underwater around lunch time tomorrow with the water rising about a foot per hour), so here I am trying to be somewhat productive in his absence. While we do have 11 3/4 (my nephews) coming to our house in 60 hours for Easter festivities, I decided to clean out the office! It desperately needed to be done and I figured the family would like to see some progress, right? As strange as it may seem, I moved the desk into the middle of the room so that I could see out the door while paying bills and such. I'm thinking I like it, but I'm still not sure what to do with this enormous bookcase. I'm sure that will work itself out in time. Matt and I do plan on painting the shiny walls soon, but we can't decided on a color. We figure that it will be a nursery in the next 2 years, so let's just paint it once! The challenge is picking a color that will not only work for now, but for a Sesame Street themed nursery. (I've had that decided since I was in college so that I can justify my obsession with Cookie Monster.)

Other than that, we had a delightful St. Patty's Day celebration at the Breitenbach/Didriksen homestead last Saturday. I think it might be awhile before I have another appletini... I'm off of work tomorrow for Good Friday (weird, I know, but I'm not going to complain), so I'm hoping it will be another productive day for the happy housewife.
Well, I think it's obvious that I'm getting a little delirious at this point, so I'm going to head to bed and get my fix of Golden Girls.

Way to get organized! It's kinda theraputic (sp?) sometimes to do that. Hope your Easter turns out great!
