Better late than never....

So, I'm trying to break my habit of hitting the couch as soon as I get home and staying there all night. (This is generally why I update at work.) So, I made it to the gym both Monday and Wednesday and plan on going tonight. (I would've gone Tuesday too, but the weather was too sketchy.) I've been really swamped at work, so that's why you all are getting the weekend update on Thursday....

Of course it was a wild weekend with Sam being home as well as the Indy folks in town. As we were preparing for Sunday brunch at our place, we got a last minute call to head out to Wentzville for dinner. It was definately a good time, then the boys were wisked away to the bar for some good 'ole male bonding. I had told Matt that I would just pick him up later, not thinking that I would be driving to Wentzville, heading home to go to the grocery store, then back out to St. Charles to retrieve him! We finally made it home at 1:30am, but I still had some prep work for breakfast the next morning (later that morning?). I finally made it to bed at 3am, then back up at 7am to start cooking. Everything turned out great and I made a valiant attempt at earning my domestic goddess merit badge with my art project/centerpiece.... (It's not as easy at it looks on the web.) I just need some more practice at entertaining for more than 6 people....

Well, back to work... See many of you Saturday at Kitaros... Or as Katie said, "Saki-tu-me!"

I wish we could have been there...your centerpiece was wonderful! I love doing fun things like that. See you tomorrow. Mike's still not 100%, but he's not contagious, so we're going!!!
