So, today I got the pleasure of having my eyes dilated... For those of you that haven't had the pleasure, it's kinda like someone taking your contacts out and telling you to go about your business. I managed to get myself into work after the appointment and sat down in front of my computer, however, I couldn't read a thing on the screen! Thoroughly frustrated at the prospect of wasting a vacation day, I finally started to recover some of my vision. Currently, I'm still a little squinty, but overall, not too bad. My eyes look super crazy since they are already so big!
The whole point of the process was to determine that I truely have optic neuritis (blurry vision with dimished red color saturation) caused by my MS and not a retinal problem from one of my Crohn's meds. Well, all is good and the optic neuritis will just have to go away on its own. Great news, since the Crohn's cocktail I am on really seems to be working.

Good news! Last time I had my eyes dialated, I about crashed my car on the way home...twice!!!
Don't your doctors require you to have another driver with you so you could actually get home safely? I personally have never had my eyes dialated but I ca'nt imagine trying to dirve without my glasses on. I'm pretty much blind with out them. Glad to hear that you are feeling better after your cocktail.
glad to hear everything is okay! I had to have mine done a few months ago to see if I could qualify for lasik, after that I drove to the college and took a algerbra exam! Imagine how much fun that was ;) take care!
